Technical Project Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Project Engineer.
As Technical Project Engineer you will be involved in the execution of improvement and automation projects as well as analysing and solving technical bottlenecks within the production departments of the Bekina business group. You work closely together with different departments within the organisation. In the short term, you will therefore become ultimately responsible for the projects assigned to you.

Job description
- You support, lead and steer automation and improvement projects. In line with your knowledge and experience, you manage projects independently and provide support for larger projects.
- For correct completion, you provide the necessary work preparation for projects, draw up the planning, make budgets and follow them up carefully.
- After implementing a project or changing a layout or working method, you provide training for the production operators and/or technicians based on your own written work instructions, thus transferring knowledge and securing it in clear procedures.
- You analyse and implement technical solutions with a view to product or machine optimisation, production efficiency and production capacity. In doing so, you work closely with the Process Engineer.
- You are the central contact person for external parties from quotation request to installation and start-up.
- Where necessary, you offer support to the team of technicians.You will report directly to the Technical Manager.
What we expect from you

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with preference in electromechanics or mechanical engineering.

You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical production environment.

You are entrepreneurial, ambitious, hands-on and have a strong sense of responsibility.

You are able to view a production environment with the necessary helicopter view.

You have a pragmatic approach and are solution-oriented.

You are fluent in Dutch and English. French or German is a plus.
