Machine operator 2-teams

Job description

In this position as an operator, you will be multi-deployable on various machines within the production of Compounds.

Mixer:

• Weighing out powders
• Adding correct quantities into the machine
• Visualisation and mixer control
• Troubleshooting using procedures (computer-controlled settings)
• Technical understanding (machine operates via suction and blowing systems, vacuum pumps)

Follow-up roller:

• After mixing, rubber ends up in the tracking roller
• Follow instructions on sheet
• Remove from rubber and cool
• Additional mixing if not according to required quality (quality control)
• Physical handling: trimming, stripping

Logistics:

• Supply and remove raw materials with forklift truck
• Experience certainly required (certificate can be obtained or renewed internally)
• Transport with pallet truck
• Preparing pallets and attachments
• Feeding Big Bags into the silos

Extrusion:

• Setting the right parameters
• Conversion to the correct configuration (placing screens and correct moulds)
• Quality control (monitoring correct dimensions during production process)
• Packaging of finished products

What we expect from you

• You have experience in a production environment
• You have experience as an operator, setting up machines, solving minor technical problems
• Notions, interest in rubber compounding or rubber in general is a plus
• You are quality-oriented and work meticulously (weighing must be done correctly)
• You can work well in a small team, switch quickly if a colleague is absent, work on different machines
• You are Dutch-speaking, basic English is an advantage
• You can handle physical work (lifting loads), standing work
