Process Engineer

Job description

• Mapping out and optimising the processes in our production environment by striving for the highest possible OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). You map out the current processes and propose optimisation paths on the basis of experiments and analyses with a view to increasing machine efficiency and production quality. 
• You ensure the implementation of adapted working methods in accordance with the applicable norms (ISO, etc.), standards (e.g. 5S) and customer requirements. You provide training and education to employees and monitor the application of the proposed procedures and processes. 
• You supervise developments from customer demand to finished product and ensure consultation between production and other departments (sales, R&D, supply chain, etc.). 
• You translate new orders into adequate project work (mould design via CFD, selecting the right materials and suppliers, test runs, delivery and transport).
• You supervise the production planning, the correct translation of this planning into SAP and the correct management of master data.
• You report to the SDE Director.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor or Master degree in industrial sciences, preferably in electromechanics, process technology, automation, manufacturing engineering, plastics techniques, chemistry, etc.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant professional experience. A strong interest in the techniques of a production environment is present. You have an affinity with polymer processing and automation. 
• You can plan, organise and prioritise well. 
• You are fluent in communication with customers, colleagues and suppliers.You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English. 
• You communicate fluently with customers, colleagues and suppliers. 
• You are driven to optimise processes
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English. You can also express yourself adequately in French.
