Technician

Job description

• As a Technician, it is your responsibility to resolve machine park faults efficiently and quickly. You will have to deal with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic breakdowns. Every day is different and you will constantly encounter new problems, which makes your job interesting and engaging.
• Variety of installations:
  Due to the variety of products made at Bekina, we also have various production machines and installations. You will have the opportunity to get to know and understand different machines so that you can solve breakdowns in the most efficient and effective way. You will also ensure that after an intervention the machines can be safely used again.
• Optimisation of the machinery:
  Besides troubleshooting, you will also be involved in improving the performance and efficiency of the installations. Because of your interest in continuous improvement, you will also reach out with proposals for further optimisation yourself.
• When no interventions take place, you perform preventive or corrective maintenance. This keeps your work interesting and encourages you to continuously acquire new knowledge and skills.
• Before you start working independently, you will receive extensive internal training. You will join a small team of technical colleagues.

What we expect from you

• You are a technician with already a first work experience in an industrial environment
• Minimum Technical Bachelor or equivalent through experience
• Both an analytical and practical approach
• Working autonomously and solution-oriented
• You want to work in a 2-shift regime (no night or weekend)
• Good knowledge of Dutch, practical knowledge of English
