Family Day at Pairi Daiza

At Bekina we aim to “work hard, play hard”. That’s why we regularly organise fun events for colleagues, both within and outside the business. We hold a family day every two years and this year, Saturday May 25th was the day. The Bekina Family Day has become a real tradition. This year we chose Pairi Daiza, multiple winner of the title ‘Best Zoo in Europe’. 

All our employees and their families were invited to enjoy a day out at Pairi Daiza. First, everyone had an opportunity to explore the park on their own. There was so much to take in at this amazing, enormous zoo. By the way, did you know that a lot of animal keepers wear Bekina Boots? During the afternoon, everyone was free to stop for a break and choose something tasty to eat and drink at one of the many restaurants and bars, thanks to the gift cards that we handed out. At the end of the day, we all gathered at the Oasis restaurant, in the middle of a huge tropical greenhouse. Here we enjoyed a delicious barbecue buffet together. The perfect opportunity to chat with colleagues from all the different departments and meet their families too. It was the ideal end to a sunny family day. 

The day was a great success and we want to thank everyone who came along!
